The Property

A private five acres, kept quiet.

Tikkun is located on a private five-acre property in South Florida surrounded by palms, mature trees, open space, and quiet gathering areas.

There is enough room to walk without arriving anywhere in particular — and enough room to be part of a group and still find somewhere to be on your own.

The Maloka

A space built for gathering.

The Maloka is the property's dedicated gathering and ceremony space — a thatched structure set in its own clearing, where the group meets, sits together, and does the work of the retreat.

Stay

Somewhere simple to sleep.

Accommodation on the property is intimate rather than large. Only a small number of guests stay here at a time, which is part of why the retreats stay small.

Rooms are comfortable and unfussy, and some guests share a simple open sleeping space rather than a room of their own — the room options and what each costs are listed on every retreat. You won't spend much of the retreat wherever you sleep, and that is the intention — most of the day happens outside, in the Maloka, or around a table.

Gather

Room for the group.

Meals, conversation, and the unplanned parts of a retreat happen in the communal spaces — a kitchen and indoor rooms for when the weather turns, and shaded outdoor areas for when it doesn't.

Some of the most useful hours of a retreat are the ones nobody scheduled.

Rest

Time that isn't spoken for.

There is a pool, a pond, and a good deal of grass and shade. Between sessions the property is yours to use however rest looks for you — swimming, walking, reading, or sleeping through the hot part of the afternoon.

Doing nothing here isn't time off from the retreat. It's part of it.
